Thursday, March 30, 2006A brand new feature of the safety and security division of GM comes a new service of diagnostics. As featured in the humourous new television ads OnStar where the man is checking his email and comes across email from his car! That's right in the often crazy world that we live in the 21st century ours cars can now drop us emails. The new service OnStar is offering on most Canadian and American GM vehicles that are 2004 or newer does just that. Their diagnostics program installed in the car automatically checks a series of hotspots throughout the vehicle on a monthly basis. These hotspots include your airbags, engines, transmission, your OnStar system as well as your oil and mileage. These results are put into a email report and emailed. Each sector has a section on the email report that lets you know whether there is a small malfunction that the system could cure. If there is a more serious problem it will inform you as to what's wrong and suggest you visit your local GM dealer if that's the case. If there is something serious you can call a GM advisor who can conduct their own diagnostic tests. The advisor will then email you the results of the diagnostic and you will have much more information when you go to see your GM dealer or your auto shop. These tests can be run by the advisor at anytime if you feel there is a need prior to the monthly check-up. This service is offered at no additonal cost to all current OnStar subscribers. This I believe is some true cutting edge technology that is bringing what shows and movies have shown us is now coming to life. Check out the OnStar to see what it's all about. Wednesday, March 29, 2006After sorting out some issues and getting the comment code perfectly in place, I have changed my mind and now the traditional Blogger comment system is online now. Feel free to use the comment system, I have it set so that it's open to the whole world literally. Anyone not just Blogger members can comment away, I look forward to hearing from you. This should be much easier and less daunting for those of you who aren't as familiar with tagboards which I have on the blog up until now. The tagboard will remain on the right-hand side if you wish to use it. Simply enter your comment in the message box, a name and hit go. Select from the smiles menu to add entertaining emoticons if you wish. Teague Neal blogged on 6:19 PM

Tuesday, March 28, 2006I have crossed back over the pond to my home country of Canada. Following a sensational European experience getting a glimpse of Holland and spending time in both Belgium and France. My premiere time in Europe was one that was truly memorable each day bringing new sights, sounds, smells and yes surprises. I flew across the Atlantic spending 10 days in Western Europe as part of a Canadian battlefield tour. We saw all the D-Day beaches including our Juno, Vimy Ridge, Dieppe the Bayeux tapestry, the Mona Lisa, Versailles and ate gourmet food and so many wonderful experiences. The trip began in Brussels and came to a close in Paris, both enchanting cities in their own right. Over the next several weeks I will be continuing to update my blog which will include posts on Mexico where I was in February and Belgium and France. Also different types of travel websites, new funky technology and much more, keep checking back. Teague Neal blogged on 6:11 PM
