Tattoo staff writer Samantha Perez of St. Bernard Parish just outside the borders of New Orleans, USA who was badly beaten and completely flooded following the August 23rd, 2005 Hurricane Katrina. The category 5 storm has wreaked havoc physically on her house and community. This is in the process of getting back in order. Nonetheless the mental recupperation will take much longer. This is what Perez is in the process of trudging through as she tells the globe while the rest of the media of the world has stopped reporting on Katrina.
