Picking up the pieces following Hurricane Katrina
Visit The Tattoo to get your heart warmed and wrenched by the continuing tales of Tattoo staff writer Samantha Perez as she continues to document her life after Hurricane Katrina. Perez hails from St.Bernard Parish, Louisiana just outside of New Orleans. In her trio of new entries to her Hurricane Journal Perez tells the tale of living life and trying to fit the shattered pieces of the puzzle back together following the hurricane. She writes of living in a trailer, reuniting with friends and much more. Her story comes from the soul and continues to document Hurricane Katrina as there is still much unrest and much to be told.
